Accreditation
Empirical Multidisciplinary Institute is accredited by the following Education and Training Quality Assurance bodies (ETQAs), CATHSSETA, HWSETA, ETDPSETA, and the QCTO. ETQAs are Education Training Authorities, established under the South African Skills Development Act 97 of 1998. An ETQA sets specific standards for training providers and quality assures the quality of training, assessment, and moderation of the accredited programs. The ETQA confirms the level of proficiency and quality of training undertaken for current by a skills development provider (SDP). The accreditation of an SDP is beneficial to both the provider and the relevant stakeholders. Below are some of the benefits that Empirical Academy enjoys as an accredited training institution.
Additionally, Empirical Multidisciplinary Institute has a Memorandum of Association with the Keystone University of Africa, a Zambian private university accredited by the Higher Education Authority in Zambia. In this collaborative memorandum of association, Empirical Multidisciplinary Institute advertises the programs, registers, students, provides tutorials and assessments. Keystone University of Africa moderates the assessments and certificates the students. Like any foreign qualification, upon completing the qualification, graduates that are resident in South Africa can apply to get their diploma and degree certificates evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
