The Bachelor of Occupational Health, Safety, and the Environment degree program is designed to provide an academically comprehensive curriculum that prepares graduates with the ability and competency to become highly qualified safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental professionals.

Overview

It has been our basic principle for continuous improvement in programme delivery at Empirical Academy. In addition to our accreditation with the HWSETA, ETDPSETA, CHASSETA and the QCTO for further education and occupational certificates, Empirical Academy has ventured into offering undergraduate and post graduate qualifications in collaboration with Keystone University of Africa, which is accredited by the Zambian Higher Education Authority (HEA). We are offering courses in the field of commerce, health and safety, environment, development, and legal studies. Such a partnership will increase the quality, value, and diversity in the services we are offering our clients.

Admission Requirements

Diploma

  1. Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with five credits or better
  2. ‘O’ level or equivalent
  3. Work experience is considered

Undergraduate

1. Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with five credits or better 2.  ‘O’ level or equivalent
3. Diploma in a related field
4. More than 2 years’ work experience (optional)

Graduate & Postgraduate

1. Bachelor’s Degree
2. At least two (2) years’ work experience
